The Melton Foundation is a leading proponent of Global Citizenship practice worldwide. Since 1991, the Melton Foundation has been dedicated to empowering individuals and organizations to collaborate on designing shared solutions to global challenges. The Melton Foundation came to Africa in 2014, partnering with Ashesi University in Accra, Ghana. Accra has since become a dynamic hub for sustainable action and leadership. Known for its vibrant culture and innovation, Accra is a hotspot for transformative ideas and impactful initiatives. Our Fellows from Africa have spearheaded numerous social impact projects and Acts of Global Citizenship. Additionally, Accra has hosted key events, including Global Citizenship Conferences, Co-Labs, SDG Innovation Challenge and Symposiums, that bring together changemakers from around the world!
